• Stereo looks nice and like factory fit for 2009 camry hybrid with jbl. Starts up instantly on car start. Jbl system works perfectly with Metra JBL amplifier. The play store allows to install new apps and home launcher. Octa core processor would be best, though speed is good enough.

• I can only try to describe how much I love this thing! Buy it! It is high quality and very easy to install. Sounds way better than my factory unit. The unit is super fast and responsive. Steering wheel controls work perfectly, lights match other interior, lights, near perfect factory finish, and spot on fit. Joying is also responsive with any needs.

• Wish I could give it 6 stars. 100% plug in play in a 2010 Camry. I did encounter a few very minor fitment problems that were easily overcome. If you have the ability to install a head unit, this unit is a piece of cake. Works,sounds and looks great, actually looks oem. GPS has the best sensitivity and quick response time of any I've every used. I have nothing negative to say about this unit - that a big statement coming form me!

• So far so great. I'd been in the market for an upgrade for sometime but was waiting for something new and classy, this unit hits the mark.
  Initially I wasn't expecting much for the price but upon installation have zero complaints and have already gained many compliments. The screen is crisp and clear, the buttons are extremely responsive, and the capability is unlimited. Steering wheel controls are fully functional, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, you name it.

• Brilliant product. 5 stars.

 VW Amarok radio head unit. Is great value and works perfectly. Better than original unit. Worth  the purchase. Fits perfectly.

• Very good unit

Installed one of these into a Golf V without a lot of experience. Have done a few stereo's before just not in VW's.
Once the dash was apart the unit went in very well, fitting snugly and all the wiring fitted just fine.
Everything worked when the unit powered up, including Bluetooth and wireless connectivity.
Only problem was the steering wheel controls which would not display the settings screen despite the CAN bus being wired in and working (door open display working).
In  the end this didn't matter as the controls worked exactly as supposed to, just can't customize them.
Driving around with the unit was great, music and DAB radio working perfectly.
Came with iGo nav software already installed to local memory and it all worked well.
I would highly recommend this head unit to anyone wanting to upgrade their standard sound system for a reasonable price.
If you're planning to do it yourself then be prepared to deal with the dash components of your car.
It's easy to install the unit but an awefull experience getting to it.

Upgraded VW radio with this unit. Installation was easy - plug and play. I like having the Android system in the car with the ability to download apps (while on wifi).

• Perfect fit for my Golf Mk6

I recieved my head unit in just over a week from China!
I was a little nervous about the quality when I ordered the unit, but I must say I am very happy with it. It took me around an hour to install and everything was just plug and play.
I highly recommend getting the plastic pry tools, I used them on the installation and it was completed with very little fuss and no damage to any plastic parts.
In my Golf I installed the GPS antenna directly above the air vents under the dashboard which gives excellent satellite reception without the antenna being seen.
There are some very minor spelling mistakes with the android phone and bluetooth app, but the software is very stable.
I am running Sygic as my prefered Nav software and it works without any issues.
Installation of Spotify from the AppStore worked perfectly and having spotify download the songs locally is perfect.
Sound quality is easily as good as the original VW head unit, bass is still very good.
My one major grief is with the radio app appearing to not support RDS for song title and artist, Radio names do come across.

Fantastic unit, would buy again.

If you are looking for screen for your chevy or gmc that thing is perfect because oem screen cost 600-1200$ depends used or brand new and oem don't have so good quality of picture and I don't like cd for navi because it's always old and never updating. Here you got google maps which always working perfect and a lot of apps like Facebook, pandora, whatever you wanna use in your car. Sounds work the way better than with oem. I need to plug AMP blue (to REMOTE TURN-on) on harness VW!
Harness VW ago on cables available:
-RWR CCD 12v to return signals back camera,
-ANT-CONT Antenna Radio!
Can you tell me how I can connect AMP blue on Harnesse VW?
On Harness VW I have no AMP-CONT wire.
Look 2 photos: AMP REMOTE wire and Harness VW!
I absolutely want to connect AMP, but I do not know how! Can you help me please!

1. I noticed from the website that there is a new 6/26 update to the firmware.  Can you please provide me instructions on how to update?

2. My radio seems to continue to drain my car battery after I turn the unit off.  Its drawing around 300mA from the battery.  If I don’t start my Jeep for 2 days, I find my car battery dead.   How do I make sure the radio is powered down and no current is being drawn from the battery?

3. The FM Stereo app does not stay on a station.  It randomly starts searching after being locked on the station.  How can I turn off the auto search?

4.I am unable to get some apps like Netflix to play the video.   The app will load and I can select movies.  However, the movie will never play.  Why is Netflix and HBO Go not compatible?

5. The user manual references inserting a SD card to increase memory.   Is there a slot that I can add an SD card?

Some tips for " sound quality, shrinking icon, Sat Nav"

Below is the feedback from on of our customers.

I have the Android 4.4 RK3188 unit for my Toyota.

I am really pleased with the unit, delivered fast, fits and performs well.

I improved the sound quality by installing the PowerAmp app from the play store.
Really good equaliser and base boost - which was lacking in my car with the original head unit.

To get the hardware buttons working with it, you need to install the Microntek RK3066/3188 HeadUnit Service.
Again on the play store. This allows you to use the hardware buttons with PowerAmp, and will do some cool extra things too. No rooting required...

Had the 'shrinking icon' issue - resolved by not moving the affected apps to SD Card.

Would also recommend Copilot for Sat Nav, since it allows downloaded maps and is very well priced for the full version.

Torque works great using the Joying bluetooth dongle for ODB2, even works using Torque's fast communication option :)

More tips will be available in the future if we got it
